Another masquerade before circumstance...

Hello,
Let's see, i've been really burned out lately, im not really sure why but yeah, it's weird. Umm things that are happening, Scott found a stripped down computer just laying on his road (1.3ghz) so he gave it to me and now it works! I was really happy that I got it to work, it was a pain in the ass, which bring me to the idea that western digital hard drives suck. If you have to get a drive, get a hitachi or seagate! Alright, besides nerd stuff.... on sunday I hung out with Joey and went with him to buy his new stereo and speakers for his car. Monday I went with him and eric to get it installed. While we waited we walked down to the red robin and ate lunch. Our original purpose for going there was that we didnt know how long it was going to take them to install the stereo and joey remembered they had this thing where if you bought a burger and fries, all of your fries (as many as you wanted) were free. So, we ended up haning out at red robin for 2 hours and eventually got the call to come back and pick up the car. Sounds really good! After we got the car we went back to Joey's house to pick up a cd drive for me (this is why that computer works). Today, kind of sucked. It was really dreary all day and everyone had some form of pms one way or another. The only cool part about today was we had a two-hour delay so I got to sleep in. Anyways, after school sucked too, I was supposed to go work on this network but I guess I dont have to do anything right now. Currently, im just sitting around and getting ready to do homework. Thats about it for now.... I will post later on this week.

Who the fuck are you to say that the dream has washed away

Hello again,
Yeah so its been awhile since ive updated this thing and figured what the hell. Let's see i think its been like a week since of posted so let me think. Umm havent really done much during the week besides dealing with school and all of that homework jazz. This past saturday I had band practice with eric and ben and then lauren showed up. It was pretty cool, me and eric figured out this cool trck involving walkie-talkies, it will probably be in a song at some point in time. Anyways, we pretty much solidified (me and eric) the bass and guitar parts for what is currently titled as "nogano" and we plan to record that stuff sometime soon. Also in the works, we started writing this pretty cool acoustic song so i think we might record it and post it sometime in the near future. Besides band stuff, I hung out with dave, scott and shawn on saturday night. We went to infinite art (tattoo shop in town) and helped the owner film this project he had been working on, it was interesting. Then scott and I went over to his house and he showed me this bitchin' air cannon he made. *If anyone has suggestions as to what shoot out of it, let me know*. Then we hung out for a bit and then loaded his drum, kit into his truck and gave it to me, its not a great set but it works for coming up with simple beats. Sunday, I FINALLY GOT NEW SHOES, i've been procrastinating and it finally got to me because my old shoes has completely fallen apart. After that, I came home and then scott calls me and says dress warm and hangs up. So, I go outside and scott had made a go-kart out of a bed frame, a wheel-chair, an old refrigerator mechanism, and lawn mower engine. As weird as it may sound the whole thing was pretty cool, and pretty fast, I rode it today. After scott left this afternoon, I went and watched tv for a bit then passed out till around 7. I woke up, ate dinner, watched the screen savers and then ended up in here and got the idea to update this. Thats pretty much all i can think of at the moment, so ill come back later.

Apocalypse Please

So the past couple of days have been interesting....

Alot of family jazz has been happening and yeah, the last post explains it. One good thing that did happen was I got GTA: San Andreas. This game is AMAZING. Rockstar did a really good job on this game and if you haven't at least rented it you should. Right now im in the middle of a territory war in the game which is really interesting, the city is spilt into different gang areas right now and every now and then my gang's area starts flashing saying its under attack and i have to go an gun a bunch of people down. YAY GANG VIOLENCE. Anyways, besides that, I finally went back to school today and as i figured was trampled with work. Nothing too bad though, just some math and chemistry and english. And, this is the part that dissapointed me the most. This afternoon as all of you know, George W. Bush was announced as being re-elected for a second term. I was really shocked that Kerry just threw the towel in but when it was picked apart there was no way for him to win. The upside to the whole thing was that this election had a HUGE turnout voter wise. Meh, looks like we have to endure another four years with bush, but at least this is the last time possible, so lets hope in 2008 that we will have alot more choices, and a better idea of what is going on. Anyway's thats about it, now im off to go watch the Screen Savers and do some homework. Later.

Darkest Days

Heres the gist of Ryan's day:

6:30am - Wake up to find out grandma is in hospital.
7:30am-11:00am - Classes
11:15am - get a note from office saying to call mom ASAP
11:50 - During 6th period, phone rings, and im excused from class
12:15 - pick up my aunt and cousin
12:45- get to hospital to see my grandma
3:00 - Leave hospital and go to my grandma's house
5:00 - get a call from my uncle, telling me that our great grandma has passed.
6:00 - get home
7:00 - Now - jack shit.

So yeah, I really dont know what to do now.... it really sucks. My great grandma was the kind of person who brought the family together at tough times. Now shes gone and it looks like things might get a little tricky. So, thats the post for today, kind of depressing, I know. Ill be back up and going in a few days. But for now I figured id let you know where I am if i dissapear.

R.I.P Katherine Gerlach. You were the COOLEST grandma. And funny too.

Later Guys,
Ryan

Brooklyn is burning down to discotheque

Hey,
So this is an early post, maybe the only one for the day. I dunno yet. Anyways, today was kinda boring and interesting at the same time. We started doing presentations in psychology and only 1/3 people didnt crash and burn. It's kind of good that me and my partner are going towards the end because im able to take notes on what not to do, and what to do when we present. Besides psychology during chemistry today we were talking about something and the teacher made this really good burn on one of the jock assholes and it was really funny, he kind of looked like he was about to cry but whatever, good time. Currently im working on my psych project and then in about 45min im going to start work on my english paper. I dont know about you guys but I find it ironic that my American Literature teacher is an illiterate chinese woman who used to be the translator for foreign exchange students. Definition of budget cuts anyone? But besides all of the school jazz, i started working on this song I had written awhile ago but forgot about. If you know what the cure sounds like its kind of like that, pretty cool stuff. Basically, my life has been boring today seeing as how this is one of those school weeks from hell. I cant wait until the weekend or to do something interesting. One cool thing did happen today, I found out that Verizon has finally accepted our house for broadband service. The main reason im really happy about this is because my current provider, is somewhat sucky, theres practically no bandwith at times and yeah it gets messy. But with VDSL i have a direct line to Verizon so there isn't any sharing of bandwith or jazz like that. So with that in mind im going to stop writing in here and get back to work, hopefully my partner will be online soon and I can send him the notes. Blah. Alright, im out of here, maybe ill post again, i dunno. Later, Ryan.

The leauge of pissed off voters

Hello again,
Yeah there was no update last night because I happened to have gone out to the Michael Moore tour that was passing through town. It actually turned out to be a really decent event that was mainly focused on getting people to cast their vote on the 2nd. I was really suprised by how many democrats are actually in Toledo, they ended up selling out the seagate center and topped out the audience at somewhere around 5,000 people. Some of the people that were with Moore included Rosanne Barr, Tom Morello (My favorite guest of the night, if you dont know who he is Tom was the guitarist for Rage Against The Machine), Marine Lance Corporal Abdul Henderson and Gloria Steinem. All of the people that spoke were very informed and really suprised me with their views, I didnt know Rosanne was so politically involved! Anyways, it was pretty fun and I highly suggest that if Moore is coming anywhere near your town, you should make the trip to see him, it's a very good experience, especially when its only one week away from the elections, the energy is amazing. I know you are all expecting photos (at least I hope so) but my camera was messing up last night. No fears though, I headed over to the Michael Moore website and grabbed some photos that his tour crew took. These pictures are actually better than mine because they're really upclose! Check it out below, these actually dont interfere with my format so they will be in this post for awhile. Again, make sure you go to see this event if it comes near you, and get out and vote (if you can) on November 2nd. And now the pictures... oh actually, before i post those check these guys out, I forgot that they also spoke, very interesting little idea www.10mph.com, these two guys decided to ride across the country promoting their documentary on America but riding Segues the whole time. Very Cool! And seeing as how where I usually upload my pictures server seems to be down, I will upload them later when its operational. Later Guys.

YOUS A HOE

Hello everyone,
Yeah dont ask about the title because I have no idea, i just have that damn song stuck in my head. Anyways, to be blunt, today really sucked. Basically, woke up early after being up till 4 so i had like 6 hours of sleep then i find out I have to fix my uncle's computer. Which ended up being a waste of time because he deleted a file I needed and now i have to go back with it tomorrow, oh jeeeeeez! white people make me so angry, time to go to the cutting room. Anyyyyways, once we left his house I went with my mom over to my grandmas to pick some stuff up and then when we were leaving I convinced my mom to let me drive home, which didnt turn out to bad. She says im doing pretty good and i've only drive 3 times (with her) so yay maybe i get my license early. After that I came home and watched The Day After Tomorrow, which overell isnt a bad movie but the ending kind of sucked, It leaves alot of holes open and no room for a sequell. After that the midget called me and ranted about how she thought my brother was in her room and then how she is afraid to go into st. james (a suburb development thing) because it was supposedly built on a swampy marshland thing and now its starting to get sinkholes and jazz er something. But yeah thats about it for today, only other interesting thing was dave came over and hung out for awhile, besides all that jazz nothing much. So I guess I will return with another tale tomorrow.

Rock And Roll Motherfuckers!

Hello Again,
Well, If you haven't figured out what Gun The Man Down is, it's my band, and we happened to have practice today where we took a few pictures. (See Below). So yeah, that was the basis of my day, I woke up, got dressed, and then headed to Ben's around 1ish. My mom let me drive, and but due to her Traffic Anxiety problem I had to drive like a grandma. ONce we got there we sat around for about 3 hours solidifying the main parts we planned on recording today and then started tracking. Half way through we decided we wanted food but none of us had a car. So, we decided to walk to Meijer from bens house and buy the following: 2 boxes of fried chicken, 1 box of vegetarian chicken nuggets, a Pumpkin Pie and a 2-Liter of Meijer brand pop. Eventually we made it back to bens with the food, ate dinner, and watched family guy. Then we went back down to finish recording the song. It took about another 2 hours after we got back to get everything down and correct but it was worth it (once we finish next weekend ill post it). It's actually a pretty good song, there are maybe one er two weak parts but I guess thats up to you guys to decide. After we finished recording Eric went home, and me and ben stayed around and mixed the first part of the song. So Far so good is what it looks like on our side, and currently im thinking of a better way to record the drums seeing as how the damn cymbals broke through the mix too much. More to come in the way of GTMD soon. Oh yeah, Picture time....

(THE PICTURES WERE HERE BUT THEY F'ED UP MY FORMAT SO IF YOU WANT TO SEE THEM ASK ME)

America FUCK YEAH!

Hello everyone,
well lets see maybe this fucker of a server will let me post today. So far so good, anyways today for the school part of things was pretty damn boring. Nothing exciting really happened except the fact that when we were in law, (we review current events every friday) one of the categories was abbreviations. Long behold I knew almost all of them. Now, the bad part. Every abbreviation that my group got had something to do with terrorism. So id always get the NRC (neucular regulatory comission) or WMD (weapons of mass destruction), so all of the kids in my class started freaking out and called me a terrorist. After school, I was kinda bored, not much happened and time flew pretty fast. Then we come to why I named this entry what I did. If you haven't gone to see Team America: World Police, please do for your own good. This movie is fucking hillarious and you will not be dissapointed. And now we sit here on the computer, as I download clips from the movie and apply them to random parts on my computer. Currently, when you empty the trash you hear a booming " AMERICA, FUCK YEAH! " Ahh, the wonders of being a sadistic nerd. Oh well, Later...
